A startup, a professional practice and an online shop may need very different levels of development.
Explain a business and receive enquiries
A company or service website needs clear pages, credible content and a way for a visitor to contact you. If that is the job, a focused business website may be enough without an application backend.
Let people complete a defined workflow
Accounts, role permissions, approval steps or connections to another system need a more detailed brief. Custom PHP development starts with the users, data and actions that must work together.
Sell and manage products
An online store adds catalogue content, checkout and order operations. My experience includes WooCommerce; the e-commerce service covers the questions that decide the platform and integration scope.
Write one journey from start to finish.
Instead of asking for “a portal”, describe a task. For example: a customer submits a request, an authorized staff member reviews it, and the customer receives a status update. Identify what information is needed, who can see it and what should happen when something is missing.
This is an illustrative requirement, not a claim about a delivered Bengaluru project. It helps us discuss forms, validation, permissions and integration boundaries before estimating development. If an existing system already handles part of the process, we review how the website should interact with it.
For an early product idea, a smaller first release can concentrate on the essential journey. We agree what a reviewer must be able to complete, which features can wait and how later additions affect cost and timing. PHP, Python or Flutter capabilities do not mean every project needs all three.
Hirefly: web platform and Flutter app.
Hirefly is an HR-focused job-discovery website with a related Flutter Android application. The case study separates the publicly visible interface from owner-provided candidate, employer and administration scope.
It is an example of web and application requirements beyond a company brochure. It is not presented as a Bengaluru client project, and its private dashboards were not independently tested for this portfolio.

Scope and feedback
You discuss the brief directly with me. I can collaborate with other independent professionals when additional skills are needed, with responsibilities agreed first. Nominate a reviewer who can consolidate feedback about content and functionality.
We use the appropriate planning materials—page structures, wireframes, prototypes or flowcharts—to resolve important questions. The proposal records the required functionality and what counts as approval before development moves ahead.
Budget and ownership
Pages, editable content, integrations and the condition of an existing system influence the price. A simple website and a permission-based application should not be estimated as if they were the same task. Dates and pricing are agreed individually.
Domain and hosting accounts, source/material handover, paid tools and ongoing care need clear responsibilities. My freelance working model explains how direct collaboration and practical technology choices shape the scope.
Keep what is useful before replacing it.
Bring the current URL, the problem you want to solve and any functionality the business relies on. We can assess whether the work is a change to an existing site, a redesign or a new custom build.
Existing pages, enquiry destinations and important workflows belong in that review. Backups, content responsibilities and the release checks should be part of the agreed plan. A visual change alone does not establish that a system needs to be rebuilt.

Does being based in Bengaluru mean you offer office meetings?
My service is remote-first. I do not advertise a commercial office or promise on-site meetings. We agree communication and review arrangements before starting.
How do I know whether I need custom PHP functionality?
Describe the actions users must take, their roles and any systems involved. If the goal is only to explain services and receive enquiries, a company website may be enough. Specific data or approval workflows need closer technical review.
Can we start with a smaller version of a larger idea?
Where practical, we can define an initial release around one useful journey, with clear acceptance criteria. Later features are recorded separately so their effect on the budget and schedule is visible.
What helps you estimate the project?
Share the audience, pages or user journeys, existing URL, integrations, content readiness and preferred launch date. If important technical dependencies are unknown, we identify what needs investigating before making a reliable proposal.
